Making a Splash: How Evolve Energized Pocari Sweat’s U.S. Launch
Pocari Sweat partnered with Evolve to introduce its hydration water to U.S. consumers through Costco activations and experiential events. Drawing on our experience with international brands, we created a multi-market campaign across Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston that blended Japanese wellness culture with modern fitness trends. The program included “Japanese Curious” events, Angels sports events, wellness activations, and high-heat street teams offering product samples and interactive hydration experiences. To enhance engagement, Evolve distributed branded water bottles, towels, tote bags, and sweatshirts, encouraging consumers to continue engaging with the brand beyond the event. Evolve also developed strategies to drive social media followers, strengthening Pocari’s digital community.
