TASTE THE GOOD. A summer worth sharing

Six cities. More than 172,000 products distributed. A custom tuk tuk, life-sized coconuts, and a refreshing reason to stop.

Evolve Activation created and executed Taste the Good, a six-city beverage sampling tour for Harmless Harvest that distributed more than 172,000 products across Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Miami, and New York. The experiential marketing program combined custom mobile assets, street teams, key retailer support, strategic product drops, and refrigerated product logistics.

From a cold bottle after a workout to an unexpected refreshment during the workday, the program made Harmless Harvest part of the moments when people were ready to enjoy it.

the CHALLENGE of sampling refrigerated beverages at scale

A great sampling program needs both reach and relevance. For Harmless Harvest, that meant introducing new consumers to the product, delighting existing fans, and supporting the brand in markets where people could continue purchasing it.

Delivering refrigerated product across six cities made logistics central to the assignment. Cold storage, refrigeration, inventory, and daily distribution had to work together through summer heat and changing field conditions. Behind every refreshing consumer moment was a coordinated operation designed to keep product cold and sampling teams supplied.

Solution: A Six-City Experiential Marketing tour

Evolve Activation developed a flexible touring program across all six markets. A custom electric tuk tuk anchored the experience, supported by giant coconut assets, branded custom beverage carts, coolers, and local sampling teams.

The strategy paired public-facing sampling with targeted product drops to fitness studios, workplaces, hospitality destinations, and other relevant local businesses. Retail-adjacent activity and key retailer support connected that discovery to the places consumers shop, giving each market a mix of broad visibility and more focused community reach.

the multi-city product sampling strategy

1. Street teams & brand ambassadors

The custom tuk tuk and oversized coconuts gave consumers something to notice before the first bottle changed hands. Brand ambassadors turned that attention into personal interactions, introducing the product, answering questions, and welcoming both longtime fans and first-time tasters.

2. strategic product drops to fitness & hospitality communities

Strategic product drops placed Harmless Harvest inside premium fitness studios, high-end hotels, and leading brand headquarters. The program connected with active, wellness-minded communities in places they already chose to spend their time. Each drop extended the tour beyond the street, making the product part of a post-workout ritual, a hotel stay, or a welcome workday recharge.

3. REtail support that connected discovery to shopping

Sampling near retail and supporting key retailer opportunities kept the commercial purpose in view. The program introduced consumers to the product in relevant shopping environments and created opportunities to discuss where to find it again.

4. Local field teams & consumer reporting

The field approach adapted to the conditions in each city. Teams balanced street activity with partner drops and captured consumer feedback, location performance, and operational learnings in daily reports. Those observations helped explain how each market responded and where future opportunities could grow.

COld storage & refrigerated sampling logistics

The ease of a cold bottle in hand depended on a substantial operation behind the scenes. Evolve Activation coordinated cold storage, refrigeration, and product distribution across the tour, aligning inventory and replenishment with street sampling, retailer support, and scheduled partner drops.

Product availability and temperature were part of the consumer experience. Managing those needs across multiple markets, changing locations, and summer conditions allowed the field teams to focus on bringing Taste the Good to life.

CUSTOM MOBILE ASSETS FOR BEVERAGE SAMPLING

A CUSTOM ELECTRIC TUKTUK. The custom electric tuk tuk traveled across all six markets, giving the tour a recognizable centerpiece. It brought the brand into the streets in a format that felt playful, approachable, and suited to a summer sampling experience.

COCONUTS WITH PRESENCE. Two giant custom coconuts translated the product’s core ingredient into a bold physical expression of the brand. Alongside the tuk tuk, they helped make the activation recognizable from a distance and gave consumers a reason to take a closer look.

RECOGNITION OVER APPROPRIATION. Custom beverage carts, branded coolers, and uniforms carried the same identity into different locations and sampling formats. The range of assets allowed the team to match the setup to the opportunity while keeping the overall experience consistent.

Custom Art Installation in New York

For the New York finale, Evolve added a custom art installation created in collaboration with Gabbois. The sculptural frame gave the Harmless Harvest activation a distinctive visual centerpiece and invited visitors to step inside, take photos, and spend more time with the brand.

The installation transformed public art into an interactive brand experience. It attracted consumers and content creators while generating naturally shareable moments that extended the activation beyond the sampling footprint.

SOCIAL AMPLIFICATION

Evolve coordinated photo and video content capture across all six tour markets through its local field teams. The teams documented product sampling, consumer reactions, first impressions, custom assets, and city-specific moments, creating a consistent library of authentic content throughout the campaign.

Tour announcements, creator coverage, and consumer social posts expanded the campaign’s visibility beyond each live activation. This field-led content strategy gave Harmless Harvest reusable social media content while capturing how audiences experienced the brand in real time.

Strategic Product Drops for Fitness Wellness and Workplace Communities

Across six markets, Evolve coordinated more than 100 strategic product drops as part of the Harmless Harvest beverage sampling tour. Nearly 30,000 bottles were delivered to fitness studios, wellness destinations, corporate headquarters, hotels, retailers, and other relevant community partners, including Starbucks HQ, Alo HQ, Google, Airbnb, Paramount Studios, and 1 Hotels.

Drops at Equinox, Barry’s, CorePower Yoga, Orangetheory Fitness, Life Time, BODYROK, Pilates studios, recovery spaces, and university wellness centers placed Harmless Harvest within established health-conscious communities. These targeted placements extended the experiential marketing program beyond street sampling and made the product part of workdays, workouts, hotel stays, and everyday wellness routines.
